Report: Alabama rolls up another profitable year

According to a February report in The Tuscaloosa News, the Alabama football program had a profit of more than $47 million in 2016.

The program had almost $104 million in revenue, the lion’s share coming from media rights ($21 million) and ticket sales ($37 million).

Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield was arrested over last weekend and charged public intoxication, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest and fleeing the scene in Fayetteville, Ark., by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office (and all Auburn fans say, “Why didn’t this happen on New Year’s Eve in New Orleans?”).
